The Balearic Islands are an archipelago of Spain in the western Mediterranean Sea with the four largest islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
Although close to each other and relatively small in size each of the islands maintains a distinct character different from each other and the rest of Spain. Ibiza, the White Island, is an island of two halves. In the south you can find trendy beach bars to party from morning to sunset, then as evening takes over enjoy the nightclub mecca where the hottest DJs and celebrities flock in the summer months. Head to Cala Portinatx in the north of the island for rugged beauty and bohemian markets and villages. Here you can find a hidden ancient Greek temple in a cave, or simple enjoy the peace and charm and shop high quality local products.

French & Italian Riviera - 10 Days

Iconic St Tropez, home of the bikini and forever exuding 1950’s Hollywood glamour. Since this colourful former fishing village was elevated by Brigitte Bardot, it has continued to attract celebrities and yachts each summer. Quaint little streets hold local markets and designer boutiques side by side with a French relaxed charm. Anchor off famed Pampelonne and spend the morning enjoying the selection of water sports the yacht has to offer. Jet or paddle through the multitude of yachts at anchor here, then step ashore for lunch at Club 55 with its boho chic atmosphere where you can dine with your bare feet in the sand.
In contrast to the bustle of St Tropez, escape to the small island of Porquerolles, where no cars are allowed, and you can stroll or cycle away from the crowds through pine forests. Take a coffee in small traditional villages or sample fine cuisine. Two further tranquil islands make up Iles de Lerins. Sample the white wine made by Cistercian monks on Saint-Honorat then brush up on your Dumas to visit Sainte-Marguerite and visit the fort famous from the novel ‘The Man in the Iron Mask’. |
Back to the mainland step ashore to explore the picturesque villages of Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint Paul de Vance and Eze.
